New Quote from Jack Warder a teacher I know from the Jackson YMCA ("You will never be younger than you are right now." )

Jack always uses his positive attitude to make his like better.  He is a little hard of hearing, but, so am I so sometimes I have to read his lips.  But, his message is always positive and always good.  He is a good man, he always tries to be Christ like.

These  Bible quotes were given to me by Tim Tennis:  a Former Vietnam Nam Combat Veteran.  Tim and I are members of the YMCA in Jackson, Michigan.  Tim is a warm, caring and compassionate human being a good friend and I'm am honored to know him.  I have grown because of his spiritual strength.

1. I Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

2. Proverbs 1:7 - The fear of God is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.

3. Proverbs 3:5-8 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight . Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil ; It will be healing to your body, And refreshment to your bones.

4. II Chronicles 7:14 - and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

5. Romans 3:23 - All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.

6. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

7. I Timothy 2:5 - For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

8. Romans 10:9-11 - that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead , you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed".

9. Matthew 22:36-40 - "Teacher, which is the great commandment of the Law?" And He said to him, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND." "The is the great and foremost commandment. "The second is like it, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

10. John 5:24 - "Truly, truly, I say to your, he who hears MY word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life".

11. John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish , but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world , but that the world should be saved through Him.

12. Hebrews 4:12 - For the Word Of God (Bible) is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

I have some new quotes from Jack Warder a teacher I know from the Jackson YMCA who is a strong Christian and a very nice person:

1) Experiences can be painful; we need to ask ourselves what
we can learn from them.

2)We all have a past and need to plan for the future, but the
only time we have is now.

3) Smile rather than scream

4) What would ya do if ya knew you only had one hour to
live, and why are you waiting

These quotes were given to me by Tim Tennis:  a Former Vietnam Nam Combat Veteran.  Tim and I are members of the YMCA in Jackson, Michigan

2.)  On taking risk – “ If you take risk, you may fail. But if you don’t take risks, you will surely fail. The greatest risk of all is to do nothing. – Robert Goizueta – Executive.

This particular quote was always a great motivator to try something new.  Venture out, and don't let imagined fears hold you back from something you want to accomplish.

1.)  On Dealing with People" The first gift we can bestow on others is a good example."  Thomas Morall

You have the power to change your life.  Just some little changes can make a big difference.  Start with going for a walk with your spouse a half hour or take a walk with your best friend, a lot of times it's your dog and believe me they like to go for walks.  They love being outside and seeing the world.  My big black poodles Lucy and Ellie can't wait to go to the football field  or baseball field and run wild.  They are my girls and I love them very much.  However bad a day you may have they are still wagging their tails and wanting to play.

Try not eating after 8 O'Clock at night until the next morning allowing 12 hours inbetween meals.  It gives your body a chance to settle as well as not taking in any extra calories.

Watch the news and read the paper be informed on what is going on in the world from sports to news to weather be aware.

Try to be nice to people. Most people want to be nice to others.  If you make the first move it can catch on.
